A 17-year-old boy is arrested on suspicion of having attacked five men in the city the night of Saturday.
A man had to be extracted by ambulance.
The five are aged from 20 years and up to 50-years. One man was unconscious and another had a cut in his head while the other was easier injured.
- It is, to some extent, gross violence, these are exposed to. After what we know now is the violence exercised without any form of provocation, says operasjonsleder Inherit Samsonsen in the West police district to the Bergens Tidende newspaper.
The first message was ticking in right after midnight, and then continued it with four messages to forward to at 01. The episodes took place in different locations in the centre of the city.
At 02.20 was 17-year-old arrested. He should have been drug under the voldsepisodene and is known by the police from before.
- If it should prove that it is the same culprit behind all, then it is serious. It is highly unusual that a person stands behind the five violence on a night, says Samsonsen to the newspaper.
