“Warning! This is not from Telenor, but from scammers who want info or install skadevare. Delete it or report as spam,” writes telegiganten in a Twitter message that an example of one of the fake emails is attached.
The fake invoices are very professionally made and looks to be from Telenor. The sender is firstname.lastname@example.org but several places in the emails, there are links to teleselskapets own web pages.
Earlier this year, Telenor has warned that computer criminals are increasingly proffere. It is expected that the professionalisation and the number of computer attacks will increase in 2017.
