Woman killed in motorhome accident at Oslofjordtunnelen – Bergens Tidende

A woman in 70 years killed in a violent collision between a motor home and a truck on highway 23, on Follo side of Oslofjordtunnelen. Her husband was seriously injured.

A mobile home and a truck collided on Thursday afternoon at the roundabout beside highway 23 in the team.

A woman 70s died in the collision. Her husband, who is also in the 70′s, is severely injured and was flown to Oslo University. Just after the clock 21 police that the man is out of danger.

– The couple resides in Larvik and relatives are notified, said operations manager Ann Elisabeth Svanberg police in Follo to Drammens Tidende. The driver of the truck were unharmed the violent collision.

According to Aftenposten crashed camper unknown reasons into the truck from behind. The collision was so powerful that bolbilen where the woman sat, was split into two, with one part kept several dozen meters ahead. Inventory of camper lay strewn pavement.

The accident happened at 17 o’clock Thursday and police went out early that there was talk of a serious accident. Shortly afterward enlightened police that the accident had fatal results. Oslofjordtunnelen was closed in both directions for several hours after the accident. It reopened shortly after clock 23:30.
