Man in wheelchair hit by car – taken to hospital – Nordlys

A man in his 40s in a wheelchair was injured after being hit on Bergseng outside Harstad Sunday morning.

driver, a man in his early 20s has been arrested by police. He is both suspected of driving while drunk and have led an unregistered car, police said.

– He’s probably drugged, wrote police on Twitter shortly after the accident.

The injured man was taken to hospital to Harstad. He received minor injuries as a result

of the incident.

Police said the man was conscious after the collision. He complained, however, of pain in both the back and stomach.
