A woman was rescued from the water when a 60 foot large fishing boat with about 20 partygoers, sank at the wharf in downtown Drammen Saturday night.
– Fish skate has been used to partying. There were an estimated 20 people on board when it began taking on water, said operations manager Truls Fjeld in South-East police.
The woman fell into the water during the evacuation, but she was quickly picked up and is according Operations Officer physically unharmed.
– Divers have searched the boat and confirmed that it is empty.
Fish skate was moored at a dock and is now with only cabin sticking up from the water. The reason that it began taking on water is not known. Police creates an investigation in connection with the incident.
