refs parties

the Minister dishes harsh criticism against the parties to have provoked a situation where the government was forced to intervene.

– I must say I like this conflict very poor, says Hauglie- said.

She notes that mediation between the parties was terminated even before mediation time was over. Hauglie- mean parties pushing the responsibility onto the government when they choose to move from the negotiating table.

– I think it is irresponsible of them to do it this way. They knew that the government could not let this continue, she said.

Sorry conflict

The manager Katinka Riksfjord Sporsem in Norwegian Cockpit Association denies that associated deliberately provoked compulsory arbitration in the case.

– we would have preferred that we found a solution, but there has been no determination of the counterparty to meet us, she says.

she emphasizes that the strike is a legal instrument in an industrial dispute.

According Sporsem was mediation ended before time because it was not possible to get any more.

– we have negotiated long counterpart, but unfortunately we have not reached agreement. We have gone to great lengths, but there has not been sufficient willingness of the counterparty to meet us. It was not possible to get longer, says Sporsem said.

“Legitimately”

Torbjørn Lothe, President of Federation of Norwegian Aviation, is not surprised that the government intervenes.

– It is legitimate for the government to consider whether this would have gone out of life and health, says Lothe said.

– It would have been stops in all ambulance flights from midnight of if the strike had been stepped up, he points out.

he maintains that compulsory arbitration was not something desired outcome from NHO. According to him, the negotiations ended before the time was lost because there was no solution in sight.

– This is a negotiation that has gone over very long time, where one has been through an intense mediation, but where not reached a result. So it is in some cases, he said.

Took out two pilots first

Air is a private company which operates ambulance transport for the public. The strike started when mediation with NHO Aerospace at the State mediator ended without result on Wednesday.
