The police have interrogated witnesses after three people died in a head-on collision on Highway 7 in Ål on Monday night.
– The car that drove westward, according to witness information come across the oncoming lane. It put a person in this car which unfortunately perished, says chief investigator Britt Fyksen police in Hallingdal.
The driver of the car accident is related to Hallingdal. In the other car sat three people which are all domiciled in Lithuania. Two of them were killed, while a 24 year old woman is admitted at Oslo University. Her condition is stable, said hospital.
On Monday afternoon, police still working to notify relatives.
The cause of the accident is not yet known. The road was closed for several hours while The Accident did their research on site.
– It is too early to say anything about the speed of the cars, says Inspector Paul Skjønhaug Hansen in The Accident .
Road Administration will also investigate the accident may be due to a technical malfunction of the car. Police continue their examination of witnesses this afternoon Monday.
