Lars Harnes charged with murder plans against “Uncle Scrooge” – NRK

Police believe that Harnes had plans to kill Imran Saber, known as “Uncle Scrooge” in the criminal environment.

Lars Harnes was one of the people that the police came with the drug case, called Operation “Hunger”, which is currently under reeling.

Police believe they prevented a possible homicide when they arrested Harnes.

– When he approached this address, we chose to go in and apprehend, says Einar Aas, head of Section for organized crime in the Oslo police, told NRK.

Harnes believes he is innocent.

– He does not acknowledge guilt for the indictment, said his lawyer, Anja Karin Hellander.

More may be charged

Police Attorney Line Presthus said to NRK that more people can be charged with having participated in the alleged murder plans.

– Yes, and there I show the police inspector Einar Aas has said about it, that there may be extensions there. It goes without saying that in such type of case, we can not rule out additional charges for it, says Presthus.

Nine people were prepared for custody today and more is up for tomorrow. First out was Nokas-judged Metkel Betew, who was among those who were arrested in the operation Monday.

Containment Sentenced

Lars Harnes is a familiar face for police and prosecutors. Harnes stood for years as a leading figure in the criminal loaded motorcycle club Bandidos and has a number of serious judge on the record.

In 2006, he was sentenced to detention, but by autumn 2013, he was released.

Lars Harnes became famous when he in 1999 saluted the then Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik in connection with an event against violence.

In the years that followed got Harnes a number of serious comments on the record. In 2006, he was thus sentenced to eight years detention for the so-called Aker Brygge robbery.

He is also convicted of torture, violence and kidnapping.

Claimed to have broken with the Bandidos

When he was released in 2013 meant the court that Harnes posed the same danger as before. The Court of Appeal let inter alia emphasized that Lars Harnes were in breach of Bandidos, and that he claimed to have relinquished motorcycle vest.

In May 2014, however, arranged a party in Bandidos headquarters Zaid in Oslo.

After that NRK know was Lars Harnes guest of honor, and the party was set up to celebrate the former president’s release.

Saber shot before

Imran Saber, or Uncle Scrooge, is previously indicted on charges of receiving stolen goods.

Saber’s art collector, and in January confiscated police several of his paintings.

Saber is also known as a close friend of the NOKAS sentenced David Toska.

Saber was sentenced to three years in prison in the so-called Wonderboy -saken, where a total of 13 persons were convicted for import and sale of a total of 762 kg of hashish.
