Emergency services were alerted to the fire clock 22.27. Firefighters, police and ambulance came out of the place.
When fire crews arrived at the place was full flashover in two residential units in the town house. The fire department worked with fighters, including from the roof.
At 22.38 lighted the fire department that all people were out, said operations Other Skram Hansen in Haugaland and Sunnhordland police.
Hansen informs NRK that one apartment was empty, but the fire department’s smoke divers came in contact with a man in the other.
– He had smoke damage and was taken to hospital on Stord, says Hansen.
Around one hour after the first message about the fire meant the fire department that they had control. In 23 time, there were no open flames, but both units are totally destroyed.
Maria Titland, who lives close by, says to Bergens Tidende that she was sitting in the garden when the fire started.
– I heard a loud, strange noise. I run up on a rocky outcrop to check, and then I see the flames rises of the house. I still see that there are flames, says Titland. (© NTB)
