Three asylum families have received no – three have been yes – Aftenposten

The next two weeks are planned committee meetings to deal with issues for further ten deportation cleared families, said Immigration Appeals Board (UNE).

There are asylum children who had lived at least four years in Norway, and who were forced to return with their families between July 1 last year and March 18 this year, which has been given the opportunity to demand that the cases are treated again.

Difficult negotiations

It was only after long and difficult negotiations between the coalition parties the Conservatives and the Progress Party on the one hand and cooperation parties Left and KrF on the other that this group forcibly returning the chance to promote commutation petitions.

Only after a lot of noise and threats to disrupt the cooperation agreement it was agreed. It came in the form of a supplementary agreement to the parties from before was agreed in the asylum field.



Applies 30 families

The new regulation, which came into force in June, the total 30 families that have been sent and are located abroad.

The immigration authorities have been in contact with all 30 families and UNE has so far received 26 petitions reversal. These families make up a total of around 110 people, where about 55 are children.

UNE aims that all the families who have requested conversion, getting answers during September. Matters to families who come from countries where the obligation to leave is currently suspended, requiring special priority, said UNE.
