The police was notified of the accident clock 21.15 Sunday night. The accident happened on the E16 in Arna outside Bergen. A woman was driving in a car and drove straight into a parked truck utnefor Bjørkhaug tunnel.
– The collision was so powerful that parts of the truck ended up inside the compartment on passenger car, said operations manager Morten Kronen at Hordaland police district.
The woman suffered serious injuries.
– She was unconscious when emergency services arrived and seemed to have respiratory problems. She was taken by air ambulance and flown to Haukeland hospital, said crown.
It is encountered some traffic problems after the accident, but workers on the ground are working to clear the way so that traffic can pass unimpeded.
