Pilot injured after emergency landing – Aftenposten

It was JRCC in Northern Norway at 16.30- time received nødpeilesignaler from what is described as a one-man helicopter, writes Nordlys.

-Nødsignalet was sent from the southeast in Reisadalen. It is the beacon of the helicopter that is triggered. This can be activated manually or automatically, said rescue leader Tore Wang Fjord said.

Both the Sea King rescue helicopter and an ambulance were sent to the area.

At 17.42 notified JRCC that the helicopter and the pilot was found. The pilot was bruised and was flown to University Hospital of North Norway (UNN) in Tromsø. The helicopter described as “somewhat damaged”.

The reason why the helicopter had to make an emergency landing, is not yet clarified.
