Taking charges against Krekar: – Has been imprisoned longer than any punishment – NRK

For VG says Meling Thursday that Prosecutions now requesting that the prosecutor takes charges against Mullah Krekar for violating section 140 of the Penal Code, which deals with incitement to criminal acts.

Whether he also blit accused of have made threats as he is charged with, is not yet decided.

Friday produced Najmuddin Faraj Ahmad, also known as Mullah Krekar, once again for remand in Oslo District Court. Krekar’s defense says that by last imprisonment in June was taken based on the indictment would be ready within detention period of eight weeks.

It was in February this year that Najmuddin Faraj Ahmad, or Mullah Krekar as he is also known for, in a lengthy interview with NRK said he would “send a gift” to whoever kills one Kurd he also previously convicted for threatening.

Krekar also said that he was “obviously was glad” for the terrorist attack on the editorial board of satire magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris in January this year. The day after the interview was Krekar was arrested at his home on Toyen, and siket for incitement to criminal acts.

Shortly afterwards it was announced that the indictment was expanded to include threats. Even before the NRK interviewed were Krekar under investigation for statements he had given to a Kurdish TV channel about said Kurd.



Vacationers Attorney

Already in June sent Oslo police case against Krekar to the public prosecutor. Prosecutions sent however the case back to the prosecutor and requested further investigation.

Police Attorney Elaine Roda in Oslo Police would not comment Melings statements, referring to tomorrow’s remand.
