The man has acknowledged parts of the conditions he is charged with. He will be filed in custody for a further eight weeks Thursday, according to VG.
The man has been charged before for sexual abuse of 17 children in the nursery where he previously worked.
– It has entered a new offense in the case. This is a relationship we knew the previous remand, but we did not include in the indictment. The man is charged with repeated cases of sexual intercourse with this child says acting police commissioner Einar Sparboe Lysnes.
Police believe daycare workers have utilized lessons and care situations to assaults against 18 children over a period of three years. They believe the man took abuse pictures with a mobile phone, without his colleagues discovered it. The police allegedly found more than 40 photos of a total of 16 different children in the kindergarten.
The man was arrested by police on May 6 this year and has been in custody since the day after. The arrest occurred after police had received a report of concern about a possible abuse of a child in the private kindergarten where the man worked.
