When Andre was at hole 14, came the wolf strolled over path: – Pumpa went – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Monday evening, after football training he led was over, certain other Aass from Oslo to take a round of golf at the Losby Golf Course in Lørenskog. There is a golf round he will not forget.

For when he walked toward hole 14 he saw something very few of us get to see with their own eyes.

– There is water on the right side, woods on the left side. I put the ball in place to put, and when I looked up there was a wolf and look at me, says Aass Dagbladet.

Got high pulse

He characterizes it all as a “crazy experience on a golf course.”

– Pumpa began to walk, to speak. I thought “what is this”, before I snatched the golf bag and found my cell phone to take a picture of it all, says Aass.

He was barely taken a few pictures of the beast the wolf went into the woods. The first pictures were taken 19.54. Pumpa, as Aass call it, began to calm down again.

– The wolf went up into the woods. I did not really want to meet him, so I stood and waited a bit, and chose a slightly different way to the next hole.

Appeared again

But there also appeared wolf up, and again stood Aass and wolf and stared at each other.

– I was not particularly frightened, but thinking thoughts like “what do I do if?”. I kept a little extra care around fiver-iron, in case he had taken four to five quick steps towards me, says Aass and laughs heartily.

It was here Aass got taken the best pictures of predator, 20.13. Wolf has received much attention recently after it has been observed repeatedly in Østmarka and also attacked the animals. Now took Aass even more pictures.

– It’s not every day a Oslo-boy look wolf, so I took some new pictures. It was exciting to see. A nice animals. We stood and gazed at each other, but he strolled just quiet, and took the whole piano. So we thanked for the party and went our separate ways, he said.

If called everywhere and anywhere

For Dagbladet says Aass, who trains Lørenskog’s A-team in the second division and is an avid golfer hobby, that he completed all 19 holes.

– But drive on hole 16 was not the best battle I’ve beaten, says Aass, and laughs.

The images he has given to Dagbladet, he also posted on Facebook. There you have pictures been divided a number of times and received many comments. Although he has received a lot of feedback, also by phone.

– People call everywhere and anywhere. I have received some feedback about that I should not say where and when the photos were taken, so that one could not find the wolf again, but I thought it was exciting to share.

– There was one that rang which meant that there could be two different wolves, but this I have too little straightforward on to opinions about, says Aass.

Probably wolf

Discipline leader for Diversity in Conservation Society, Arnodd Håpnes, say the animal in the pictures is probably a wolf.

– The colors of the coat similar to those wolves has summer. Body attitude is also very typical with a tail hanging straight down. The size and length of the legs is also different than that of domesticated dog breeds, says Håpnes.

He thinks it probably revolves around one of the three animals which have stayed in Østmarka since 2013 in and with that even the golf course are located relatively close to the area.

– This is an alpha male and two pups at around two years. These have become quite large since the coal that came in 2013, so it’s hard to see if it is the alpha male or one of the kids. There may possibly be a disproportionate interest from Sweden, continues Håpnes.

Noise by sheep massacre

On July 19, found Kari Anne Buer 18 of family farms sheep died in this magazine. Several others had then euthanized, which subsequently has created great attention around Østmarka.

In spite of repeated requests have the County of Akershus said no to a hunting permit. This is due to the fact that Norway is below the number of wolves nationwide.

– At the moment there are between 30 and 34 all-Norwegian wolf in the country, the vast majority in Hedmark and neighboring tracts there. This is really too small to have a viable population. We have also not clear Development Goals on having three breeding pair of wolves killed in 2014, says Håpnes about the population situation in Norway.

He emphasizes that it is Sweden, with its just under 4,000 animals, which carry the bulk of responsibility for wolf tribe that runs from the Hedmark area and eastwards towards Stockholm.

– I believe that it is a great attraction to have such animals so close to the capital, says Arnodd Håpnes Dagbladet.
