Vålnes case is dismissed – Aftenposten

The matter is updated.

Per Vålnes was last seen in their 50-year celebration home on Sagelva in Balsfjord 26 November 2011. The case was first investigated as a disappearance, but as a murder.

Murder investigation has been the most extensive in northern Norway after the war.

The last time police have used over 25 million searching for the body of Per Vålnes under Vollan guest lounge. Guest room was built in the period when Vålnes disappeared.

Use the mini submarine, GPR, geologists, biologists, archeologists, Coast Guard, Army, wiretapping, examination of telephone and data traffic, hundreds of poiltiavhør and advanced forensic investigations have been part of the comprehensive investigation .

It has been easy in the mountains, the sea, long beaches, in the home and in the community to Per Vålnes. But 50-year-old vanished. Thus, it lacked both corpses, crime scene and confessions – everything that normally are important pieces in a murder case.

– The case should have been dismissed as soon as it was clear that it was made in guest room, said defender Christian Wiig Aftenposten earlier this year.
