The detention was extended Tuesday for the second time, reports Budstikka. The man, who was first detained on June 16, denies culpability and has appealed the latest ruling.
– He is currently charged with a rape, one count of obtaining sexual favors by exploiting a mentally retarded, one case of sexual acts with children under 16 years under aggravating circumstances, and for dealing with images that sexualizes children, said police lawyer Iselinn Håvarstein said.
Further eight women will now questioned in connection with the case, on matters not yet covered by the indictment. Several of the women is probably mentally retarded, according Budstikka.
The lawyer does not exclude that the indictment could be extended.
The conditions the man is accused of, should have happened in Asker, Oslo. (© NTB)
