- Offshore employees sniff cocaine at work – Aftenposten

– I have noticed a definite increase of offshore workers who contact. Work pressures and the psychological stress has increased in the recession, says Lisbeth Bratland-Sun, general manager of the Sleep Center Rogaland that helps people with sleep problems.

– They struggle with sleep because of dismissal processes in the industry and because of irregular sleep as a result of shifts with long shifts and night work, says Bratland-Sola. She says to Stavanger Aftenblad that this leads to the use of both pills and drugs.

ConocoPhillips will now rust finest employees after they received pursuant to the requirement of Labour and Social Affairs. 630 employees can now rustestes although not suspected. The testing applies what is termed as critical to safety personnel.
