A boat with two men aboard drove on a cutting or on land in Lake Nisser outside Tveit Sund, police in Telemark.
The one man was first flown to the hospital in Arendal with serious injuries but was Saturday morning transferred to Ullevaal Hospital in Oslo. The second man came from the crash without injury.
Police said they take blood samples from the men, who both come from Telemark.
The men ran in a 18-foot boat with 80 horsepower engine.
