In Transport Minister Ketil Solvik-Olsen’s first full year in Council chair was taken into 8.5 billion in tolls. There are 500 million more than in 2013, according to figures the newspaper has received from the Public Roads Administration.
The main reason for the increase, according to the Directorate that it has been several passages, primarily because it have come new tolls on roads with heavy traffic. This applies to Highway 7 between Sokna and Ørgenvika. Some stations are closed down, but it is often less busy roads.
There are no indications that the increase is related to the increased traffic in general.
