Asker-killing: Girl (15) on charges of premeditated murder – Aftenposten

The defender of the girl, lawyer Cecilie Nakstad, was informed of the indictment Thursday, writes Dagbladet.

– She is charged with premeditated murder under especially aggravating circumstances. Prosecutors also takes proviso that they may impose alleging detention, says the defender said.

It was in October the 30 year old social worker Anna Kristin Gillebo Backlund (30) were killed at the institution Small Entities in Asker night Tuesday.

Got declared sane

She was stabbed with a knife on night duty while she looked at the girl.

Labour Inspectorate conducted an audit of Small Units Cards Time after social worker Anna Kristin Gillebo Backlund (30) were killed at work in late October. Authority concludes that neither the workplace or working environment for the employees who worked with 15-year-old, was satisfactorily arranged, secure or properly.

Work Authority believes there are factors suggesting that there was a correlation between staffing resources and risks associated with violence and intimidation when Backlund was killed.

15-year-old was twelve weeks in the winter under observation by Lier psychiatric hospital before she was transferred to the youth prison in Bergen. The experts concluded that the 15-year-old was sane.

During a remand in December, she was placed on the ground and handcuffed when she tried to take a gun from a police officer.

No previously sentenced to detention

Dagbladet writes that no one under 18 is sentenced to detention in Norway, and Nakstad told the newspaper that the girl’s age will be central detention review, if there are aggravating circumstances and whether it was premeditated.

– This is a very narrow opening for the imposition of children under 18 years detention. She was 15 years and 1 month at the time of the offense and, in our view, meet she not conditions of detention center says Nakstad.
