Two people have been checked out of the case after a man shot with training ammunition in the center of Trondheim on Monday night.
The perpetrator is still at large, police said.
– We have not gotten hold the perpetrator, and the search is now closed, said operations manager Leif Berglund in South Trøndelag Police NTB Monday morning.
Early Monday morning, two people were taken to the police station in Trondheim, where among other things their clothes matching the description of the perpetrator clothing.
Witnesses to the shooting described the man as about 190 centimeters tall, with dark hair and a military jacket.
– It was made control of two people, but they have been demobilized, says Berglund.
The first reports of the shooting incident in downtown Trondheim entered at 2:38.
Not long after, police found a whole cartridge, as well as empty shells, suggesting that it was shot with training ammunition.
