90 years old man charged with assaulting grandchildren – NRK

The man who is accused of repeatedly assaulting two grandchildren has partially admitted guilt. It tells man defender, Martin Melheim Bråteng to Avisa Nordland.



Two underage boys

The man is accused of repeatedly assaulting two boys, one 14 years old and a boy under 16 years. The abuse allegedly took place in Nordland and in eastern Finnmark in the period from summer 2009 to summer 2012, and grandson must have been 14 years old when the abuse allegedly started.

A few years earlier a man should have abused a Another grandson. These abuses allegedly took place from summer 2000 to summer 2005. This granddaughter should have been eleven when the abuse started.



Particularly egregious

The charges are taken out of the public prosecutors in the Troms and Finnmark. The prosecutor’s chief public prosecutor Lars Faus and Edel Hennie Olsen and Hilde Camilla Stærk poses as legal aid lawyers.

According to the indictment considered especially one case as particularly aggravating.

The action is considered as performed under particularly aggravating circumstances taking particular emphasis on how long the relationship has been going on, and that the action is an abuse of their relationship, it says.

The thing goes for Eastern Finnmark District Court in Vadsø on 24 and 25 June.
