Here comes the stolen Oslo apes back – TV 2

– They have some rough coat, and looking a little bewildered out. But otherwise, monkeys healthy and fine, says animal responsible Camilla Bjerke in Oslo Reptile TV2 late Wednesday night.

It was when the staff came to work in the park Wednesday morning, they discovered that the two silk monkeys Harald and Nano were gone. There was smashed glass and it was quite obvious that outsider had taken into the park during the night.

– They are pack animals, and they need their flock to thrive. I can not even imagine the stress they are now exposed to.

At the same time they could also see silk monkey Thomas, Harold’s brother, sitting lonely and stressed back in the cage.

– Look at poor Thomas, brother of Harold, he misses his brother, said Bjerke TV 2 on Wednesday afternoon.

Provided back in two the IKEA bags

Bjerke was clear that they would not report the crime if the monkeys were returned. And late Wednesday night came the monkeys back home.

– We close the park clockwise 18, but today we were here longer because of a meeting. After the meeting we were standing in the parking lot and then got a taxi driving towards us, she says.

They joked that perhaps it was the monkeys coming back.

– Then a man came out with two Ikea bags with two cans. He looked a little confused on us. Are there monkeys, I cried, says Bjerke.

– Yes, replied the man.

– When I broke into tears, and I gave the man a hug, says Bjerke.

– Thomas and Harald went straight to the basket

Staff at the Reptile Park, seen through surveillance cameras, and know that the man who delivered the monkeys did not return was the same as that took them.

– He said to me: No question, now you have to keep what you have promised, says Bjerke.

Revisited joy in the cage was too large. Thomas came running toward his brother.

– Thomas and Harald went straight into the basket and lay down to sleep, says Bjerke to TV 2.
