Christian Democrat parliamentary deputy Hans Olav Syversen was very sullen when he took up asylum children matter with the Prime Minister during a parliamentary question on Wednesday.
– I must honestly say that this is starting to become a very sad case in itself, and it starts to be a difficult issue in the relationship between the government and the Christian Democrats and Left, he stated.
Breach of Agreement
Bergens Tidende announced Monday that police should have been instructed to prioritize long remaining asylum children over criminal asylum seekers last year to achieve the set targets about the number of mailings.
– This means in reality that the agreement we have signed with the government, undermined and has been undermined over time. I want to know if this is justice minister works alone or nothing all government stands behind, said Syversen.
The Prime Minister replied that she did not believe there is a basis for the conclusions Bergens Tidende has made out basis of material available.
She also stated that it is difficult for her to talk about the case when SCSCA has opened case and will hold hearing on the matter.
– SCSCA is a part of Parliament. It is difficult to understand the interpretation if it is not an evasive maneuver, retorted Syversen.
– Poor management
Labour Party Helga Pedersen confronted Prime Minister with previous statements about poor management in the Police Department, but got no answer on indictment .
Solberg stated that statement her from a Question before Christmas was not intended as a general comment to management culture in the police.
– The attached themselves to a clear formulation in a letter of award to the Police Directorate was not relayed. Just what is an example of poor management and poor management, she said.
Liberal Party leader Trine Skei Grande was also sharp in his discussion of asylum children matter in Parliament on Wednesday. She stated that being minister is not a distinction you get, but a position where you will manage on behalf of a majority.
– Our agreement was evident. Several criminals residing in Norway illegally sent out, while families with children who have been long in the land shall be, stated she.
More rebounds
One explanation that several long remaining children were sent out of the country last year than in previous years, according immigration authorities and the government during 2014 was possible to return asylum seekers to Afghanistan and Nigeria.
SV Karin Andersen wanted to know if the government had taken a position on this and determined that several long remaining children were sent to the two countries, where she suspects that they are victims of internal displacement.
– There was an opening for returns to Afghanistan and Nigeria and then he has of course used the opening black Solberg.
