A man in his 30s is seriously injured after he Friday night was stabbed in a residential building in Sandvoll in Hordaland. Six other people who were present in the house, is arrested by the police.
The man, who is from Lithuania, was first picked up by an ambulance and taken to Stord hospital, only to be moved to Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen.
– We were told the stabbing of AMK center in Haugesund clock 01.35 and sent a police and ambulance to the place. The ambulance transported the man off immediately. He has received serious injuries, but they should not be life-threatening, said operations Kjersti Eidsnes Hordaland police.
The sequence of events is still unclear because the people involved are talking bad Norwegian.
– We have arrested six other Lithuanians who were in the house. They are transported to jail in Bergen and be examined so that we can clarify what has happened, said Eidsnes.
