Good people in poor system

– All are good people, but in a bad system. Here in prison is that in North Korea. All the rules in the past two years violates human rights. I hope politicians will stop the game. For it is shameful. Not for me, but for them, he said.

– Some of them are shameless, said Krekar about politicians.

– Morna, Siv, morna Siv, joked Krekar’s brother, Khalid Faraj Ahmad, who was a driver in the car Krekar was driven home in.

No comment from prison

It is five years since Krekar decided to boycott contact with Norwegian press. Today he broke ie boycott, and promised the press interviews at a later date.

I’ll take all of you. I will answer all questions, he said.

Maybe you want then also elaborate on what he has been dissatisfied with behind bars. By Kongsvinger prison management is reluctant to comment on the criticism.

– When zones in a Norwegian prison with high security, it is part and measures being done. I can not go into detail about what it is, says prison leader Gaute Enger.

Followed home by family and friends

Six cars with family and friends had met up at the prison to follow him. Also a police patrol was present to keep track of the horde of journalists.

Before Krekar came out, had some photographers and journalists waited for almost three days of release, hoping to go a glimpse of him as he for pretended prison. Until he appeared, it was unclear at what point he would leave prison.
