(Dagbladet): There is no one knows exactly when Per Gunnar Asheim, which was found in a burned car on Wednesday 27 March Easter week 2013, died. He had barely monoxide in the lungs and damages after the fire was so big that the police have not been able to establish the direct cause of death.

A woman, who had grown up in Tranby, said in court today that she saw Per Gunnar Asheim and one of his sons out in the garden when they came to Tranby to visit her father.

– We waved and saluted him, she said in court today.

Another of the couple’s neighbors said she saw the two run away from home in each car during the evening of 26 March. She saw now deceased Per Gunnar Asheim first.

– Per Gunnar drove the brown family car. He drove very fast, so I pushed my daughter a little aside. It was unlike him. I was a little scared, said neighbor woman in court today.

She says she often saw the light from a PC that stood in the house. A little later in the night she woke up she heard a car.

– Early morning I heard a car ran out. There were three or four time. It was a little cold, it was frozen, and I heard therefore that it crunched when the car drove. But I did not see anything, I just heard it, she said.

The accused woman bought a petrol can on Bauhaus on Liertoppen Tuesday 26 March. Same day she filled diesel jug. She explained that she would fill it on their ancestors snowblower – which runs on gasoline. In court, she explained that it happened she filled incorrectly, also on the vehicle.

The accused woman, who was married to Per Gunnar Asheim until he died, refuses guilt.

Prosecutors believe 53-year-old killed her husband because of the harrowing custody case they lay up in.
