Conservative justice policy spokesman Anders Werp says Nationen that the pilot project should not go beyond other matters as the police are working with. It stands in stark contrast to the Progress view that it must be set aside dedicated police officers investigating wildlife crime.

The pilot project should be launched in Oslo, and the chief of the county, Nils Kristian Moe, told the newspaper that it being difficult to work with precious crime without downgrade other areas.

– To do something specific areas must be people who work specifically with it. If not, issues concerning animal crime very often disappear in other cases there and then perceived as more serious, Moe says.

Lawyers in Animal Protection Alliance, Live Kleveland believes this illustrates the political controversy in the government.

– Forward it becomes important to support FRP, which fights for animal rights in government, says Kleveland.

The working group that decides how the pilot project will be implemented, delivers its recommendations in April. (© NTB)
