Unclear when Krekar emit – invited to tea in the neighborhood – Aftenposten

Unclear when Krekar emit – invited to tea in the neighborhood – Aftenposten

– I thought I had gotten a time, but now I do not know if they suddenly releases him, says lawyer Brynjar Meling about Mullah Krekar.

Although Kongsvinger prison previously informed the lawyer Brynjar Meling that Mullah Krekar released from prison Sunday morning at ten o’clock, it is unclear whether it happens or at another time.

After his release Krekar will meet own family. Where that happens, remain until further unknown to the public.

Taus family

Saturday morning visited Aftenposten Krekar immediate family residing in Oslo of. A male relative of Krekar open the door, but would not comment on the impending release.

– The family has agreed not to speak, all he wanted to say.

A however gladly speak out about Krekar homecoming to Gamle Oslo, is Aps senior candidate for district selection in town.

-I via lawyer Brynjar Meling invited Mullah Krekar on tea. We must show that Gamle Oslo is an inclusive district, says Line Oma.

Important to showcase an inclusive district

Whether Krekar coming is highly uncertain.

– Krekar is declared as a danger to national security, you are not anxious to invite him?

– No, when police believe it is safe to let him come to the family in Oslo, so I trust their judgment of that question. I believe it is important to show that we are an open neighborhood. My hope is that I can invite Krekar on tea then maybe others invite their neighbor. How we strengthen integration.

– Do you think it is right to send him to Kyrksæterøra?

– It does not make any sense if I. But he has family here and when he comes here, it is important that we show that we are an open and inclusive district, she said.

Meetings in court Tuesday

Lawyer Brynjar Meling has not decided whether he will meet up at Kongsvinger prison when the client release. But what he knows, that the matter of whether it is unlawful to forcibly send Krekar to Kyrksæterøra, coming up in the Oslo District Court Tuesday at nine.

At the outset, Krekar sent straight from prison to earl reception center at Kyrksæterøra.

But police confirmed Friday that forced emigration postponed until further notice.

They believe it is appropriate to move him to Hemne municipality in Sør-Trøndelag before the court has considered the complaint from Meling. Lawyer thinks it is illegal to forcibly move Krekar and will therefore have the decision legally tested.

The proposal for a compulsory settlement and notification happens after the justice minister put forward an instruction earlier in January.

The atmosphere in Old Oslo

Out on the street in Gamle Oslo are people unsure where dangerous the condemned Iraqi really is.

– I do not think he’s dangerous, but just very political, says Mourad El Boukhlifi (32).

Mourad El Boukhlifi

He believes that if Krekar is dangerous, it does not matter where in the country he is. Aftenposten encounter Thee Yezen Al Ubeide (30) recently in the news because of the march towards Pegida. He also believes Krekar as likely to stay in Oslo on Kyrksæterøra.

Thee Yezen Al Ubeide

– What he can do over there, he can do here, says 30-year-old Thee Yezen Al Ubeide (30).

– What’s happening now is that we give him a status he has among youth. We make him a martyr. It should FRP be very cautious, says Al Ubeide.

– Funny if he got there!

Erlend Kjøren (23) and Ole Asphjell (22) are two cheerful trøndere heading respectively ski training and weightlifting in Old Oslo. The expatriate Trønders do not mind that he is going to their former neighborhoods.

Erlend Kjøren and Ole Asphjell encourage Krekar to visit a cafe on Kyrksæterøra.

– It would be fun if he arrived, says Erlend Kjøren. Comrades from Orkanger, and know well the Kyrksæterøra. They even have clear plans for what they will see him.

– He must visit Café Cosy and Orthilia Stripa!

Lite impressed attempt to get him out of the country

Krekar has been imprisoned after being convicted for threats against Erna Solberg and three Kurds.

Several prominent politicians in FRP, with Jensen at the helm, has in opposition repeatedly advocated to put Krekar on the first flight out of the country. It has therefore not been possible. As late as January 15 stated however Justice Minister Anders Anundsen that there has been “extensive contact between Norwegian and Iraqi authorities to get an agreement on the return of Krekar within the framework of human rights set.”

Sps parliament Geir Pollestad has concretely asked Anundsen a chronological overview of when such contact has occurred and is little impressed answer.

In the outer limit of the truth

– I mean Anundsen and FRP in its external communication has moved completely to the outer limits of truth. My impression is that they have hardly lifted a finger in Krekar case before it exploded in the media and became a problem for FRP says Pollestad Dagbladet.

In a written response to Pollestad Attorney General may only refer to a few specific meetings: “Towards the end of 2013 had Undersecretary Himanshu Gulati a lunch meeting with the Iraqi ambassador in Norway where this was an issue.” Furthermore, he writes that the Foreign Ministry has taken up Krekar case of “all meetings where it has been possible in recent years” – but specifically addresses only meeting between Foreign Minister Brende and Iraqi authorities in August 2014.
