Grue little impressed Government EU strategy – Aftenposten

– Should the government end up with a usable result of negotiations with the EU, it must have a strategy for how to get into port. Part of the strategy must be to not squandered away the bargaining cards you have, says Grue Nationen.

The former Secretary of Agriculture and Food has experience from 29 rural settlements for the state.

– Government must be very clear above the EU that Norway has good reasons to be restrictive when it comes to agricultural imports. There have been government crystal clear. In addition, the reduced number of tariffs on their own, before the negotiations started. It helps to weaken Norway’s negotiating position, says veteran.

He has stressed that the government of New Year lowered tariffs on 114 agricultural products, stating that it would facilitate customs processing.

– To give something without getting anything back is not a very impressive negotiation strategy, says Grue.

He believes it is now crucial that both the government and parliament are united against EU requirements.
