(Dagbladet): A detached house in Harstad is on fire early Friday. In all, 16 people have been evacuated by the police.
It was, according to operations manager Lennart Steffensen’s Middle Hålogaland police a resident at that address who alerted the police at 02:00.
– Three people who live in the residence evacuated, as are people who live in surrounding homes, says Steffensen told Dagbladet.
in all, it should be about 16 people, police said. The evacuees are now housed at the hotel.
No injured in the fire.
– We can probably conclude that
the house is completely destroyed, said operations Steffensen. 
There should be no danger of the fire spreading but the surrounding residences have been evacuated due to smoke, police said.
What caused the fire is too early to say.
