Bilbrann E 134 – NRK

– The trailer was on fire when it came out of Seljestad tunnel. The driver got disconnected from the trailer and removed the car, says Sigbjørn Villanger, guard commander in the 110 exchange Hordaland.

Dramatic images that motorists have submitted to NRK shows how the truck is burning out of Seljestad tunnel on E134.

Hindered spread of fire

Road closed in both directions

Both the truck and the driver is Norwegian. Leads are doing well, according to the fire department. All emergency services were sent to the site after it went out triple warning of fire.

Villanger at 110 exchange Hordaland tells of the road was closed in both directions when they received notice of the fire.

Kaos on E134

The traffic situation is chaotic at E 134 now . From before, it is the convoy on the E134 over Haukelifjell where there are reports of several hours of waiting. Now they have to pass through Røldal also rely on some waiting.

The traffic is stopped before røldal tunnel, close to the ski lift and some have encountered problems on the slopes there.
