Two women in their 20s have over the last two days, independently approached emergency in Drammen for the same reason.
Both had received burns after visiting a solarium on Rundtom in Drammen.
– We do not know anything more about the extent of the injuries they have received, but the one allegedly been dehydrated, says operations in Southern Buskerud police District, Erik Gunnerød to TV2.
the two women should have used the same type of sunbed in the solarium. This lounger police have now cordoned off.
– We have tried to reach the holder of tanning salon by phone, but has not received a reply. We follow up the matter tomorrow. If we create a case or not depends on whether the women will contact police, said Gunnerød.
The Solarium in question is located in Havnegata 10 and called Super Sun.
This is the first time operation manager has received reports of burns after solarium visits.
– There must be something wrong, for this thing was not normal. It’s strange to get such damage after a relatively short time in the solarium, says Gunnerød.
Neither of the two women should have stayed abnormally long in the sun bed, police are talking about around a quarter.
