The Red Cross has sent out snowmobile patrols to search for two Danes who are missing in Jotunheimen.
The 49-year-old father and the son of 20 stayed from Friday to Saturday at Bessheim lodge beside highway 51 over Valdresflya writes Gudbrandsdølen Dagningen.
– We have found in their car on Bessheim. The two were last seen on Friday 12 February, said operations manager Per Solberg in Inland police.
At 21 o’clock on Wednesday evening went snowmobile patrols from Vågå Red Cross out to search through tourist cabins in the area.
– We send two snowmobile patrols of the Red Cross out into the night. We find them we will expand the search tomorrow morning, said operations manager Geir Stavheim to TV2.
The two Danes are skiing, but it is unclear whether they have indicated where they should. It was the family in Denmark who raised the alarm after the two failed to return home.
