(Dagbladet): Last week, Erna Solberg received rough treatment in a parliamentary question.
Today there are immigration and integration minister Sylvi Listhaug who had to meet in the Parliament and answer questions regarding the government’s treatment of asylum seekers .
The criticism of her as Erna Solberg got served last week, got Listhaug now even caught.
– Keep a fool
SV Karin Andersen said that the government act dishonestly above the parties in Parliament who took part in an asylum settlement, especially as part of the proposals that were sent out consultation according Andersen contained large factual.
– How long will the settlement partners accept that they have a government that keeps them fool ? Listhaug pointed to factual errors in the consultation responses and abused other agencies reports to intimidate through a proposal only FRP is for, said Andersen and reminded that SV stood outside asylum settlement last year.
Several humanitarian organizations and SSB have pointed out factual errors in the government’s consultation proposals.
– Fortunately there were many in this hall who took the responsibility to grasp the challenges. I note that SV stood outside the settlement. It is important that we set requirements for them to be integrated, responded Listhaug.
Geir Bekkevold (KrF) also criticized Listhuag to seek facts in asylum debate on one side, and then send out policy proposals based on misinformation.
– This is unusually strong board, said Bekkevold to Listhaug.
– Will the minister change the facts flaws of austerity proposals ?, he added.
Family reunification
Again got Listhaug criticism for pursuing a strict asylum policy. SV Karin Andersen reacted specifically to the proposal to tighten the rules on family reunification.
– The Government proposes a recipe for poor integration. Now academic shutdowns picked from his government’s austerity measures bit by bit. Has the minister sought to familiarize themselves with how it had to wait for 10 years before a refugee can take root and be safe, asked Andersen.
Listhaug responded by pointing out that tightening is about to ensure the welfare state’s future.
– We in Norway are nut to make choices and think about what is sustainable immigration policy for the future. Retrenchment is essential, and I think it is quite obvious that one should be able to provide for his family if you get them to Norway for family reunification, responded Listhaug.
– Many children are experiencing strong pressure when they are here, the family expects them to send money back home, continued Listhaug.
Tempo Criticism
Listhaug was also criticized for not doing enough to ensure asylum seekers quick and fair treatment.
– If we continue at this pace it will take four years before those who are here get clarification. Is the Minister satisfied with the pace, asked Liberal leader Trine Skei Grande.
– The important thing for me is to ensure that there is a good flow in the system. This is a challenge, we are working to get better, and then it will take time, responded Listhaug.
Left-NO
After Listhaug told Dagbladet that asylum seekers must provide not only enjoy, was she the subject of sharp criticism from the opposition, both from the left and from the government’s own support parties.
List Haugs 40 proposals for tightening of asylum policy was scrapped by left last week. It is especially rhetoric and wording to Listhaug which has been criticized by the government’s political opponents.
– The government has gone too far. We go against the whole package, said Liberal leader Trine Skei Grande a week ago.
Prime Minister Erna Solberg has also been confronted by KrF leader Knut Arild Hareide that a number of heavy professional bodies, including several subordinate agencies , is highly critical of several of the government’s proposed asylinnstramninger. Several proposals can break with Norway’s international obligations, according to the consultative input.
