The man in his 20s attempted robbery managed to get away and got alerted the police about the incident.
When police patrol arrived at the scene behaved man threateningly and aggressively against them. They had to use pepper spray and stick when they arrested the man.
– It’s not everyday that we arrest are so aggressive towards the patrol. There was fortunately good, says operations in Western Police District, Eivind Hellesund.
The man has no reports of any injuries after the arrest.
The police was notified of the robbery attempt happened in Slettebakk road on Wergeland Bergen just after 07.30.
It is presently unclear whether the robber were joined by some valuables.
– the aggrieved got into the police station and are being questioned now, said Hellesund .
No indications that the two knew each other, but the arrested are known to the police before. He is currently in custody.
