Kiosk Employed in Oslo beaten up – four arrested – VG

The police have arrested four suspects after an employee at a kiosk on the border of Oslo was beaten up by two men on Thursday.

the incident occurred when the employees caught two men in an attempt to steal items from the kiosk. The two men responded by giving the man a beating before they left from the site.

– We got a call from the employee clock 1.47. He explained that he had just been assaulted by two men. He had seen them steal, and they flew at him and beat him so that he fell on the floor. Then they ran out of the kiosk and the Parliament, said operations manager Tor Jøkling Oslo police.

A witness should have tried to run after the two perpetrators, but he has not made a sound to the police.

one hour later – in time 2:44 – arrested police four people at a hotel nearby. They were taken on the basis of witness observations, descriptions of the perpetrators and the police investigation and is driven to jail.

– Are you confident that you have the right people?

– we are not completely sure, but so safe that we found reason to apprehend them. These individuals questioned probably during Thursday morning. Also, we will continue to collect witness information and videos, says Jøkling.



Suspected of several thefts

The four arrested persons have any status as suspects in the case. Police said to VG that they believe the four, all of whom are of African origin, have conducted several thefts in the capital.

– The description and the procedure is quite similar, we can not rule out that they have been behind similar circumstances previously, says Jøkling VG.

At 03 o’clock police were present both in the kiosk and the hotel to secure any evidence in the case.



Undamaged

The store employees complained of pain the jaw after the incident, but, according to police do not have the required medical treatment.

– He seems in good physical shape, but this could probably be a mental strain. We have contacted the general manager of the kiosk, which will also be represented, says Jøkling.

The two perpetrators were probably as surprised by the staff that they were joined by some items from the kiosk.

– I do not have the impression that they have been joined by something. Our squad has not found any stolen goods, says Jøkling.
