Wide search for people from empty yacht in Søgne – Dagbladet.no

JRCC has implemented a large-scale search after an empty boat was found drifting in the archipelago Søgne Vest-Agder.

The boat was found with the engine running and years looking around at 08 Sunday morning.

– We go on this basis assume that there have been people on board, and that some may have tumbled into the water, said Bjorn Jarle AAMLID by JRCC southern Norway to Fædrelandsvennen.

Two rescue vessels, a coast guard ship, a boat from the Red Cross, a fire ship and a Sea King rescue helicopter searches of the area. Individuals in boats are also participating in the search, said JRCC.

According to police, it concerns a small boat.

Rescue crews believe the boat could be stolen, newspaper VG.
