The police was notified of a cracking damage due to a kohlrabi cannon that had exploded.
One person was injured in the incident, lit operations center in Helgeland police late Saturday night.
– He was conscious, but he had very sore arm. There should have been a good pressure. He was lifted into the air before he fell back down on the ground, explains operations manager Ann Line Finanger in Helgeland police to VG.
The gun was made from a 200-liter hot water tank filled with gas. Police have no idea how this works.
– This is new for us. I’ve only heard of spud gun, so it’s possible this works the same way, she says.
Potato Gun is made of plastic, with a combustion chamber using starting fluid or other flammable gas. The gas ignited, and the explosion that occurs makes the projectile, a potato, flying out of the tube.
