Man shot by police in Oppland – TV 2

A man was shot by police at a gas station at Roa Oppland, Thursday night.

The reason was that a car had run off from Police at Hønefoss.

– Having located the car at a gas station was a shooting incident when police tried to make contact. Police returned fire and one person in the escape vehicle was hit, said operations Bård Christiansen in Vestoppland police told TV2.

The person is now taken to hospital in ambulance . His condition is not known.

No one else was hit in the shootout.



Bureau switched

– police were fired upon, and loosened even shot. Two people were arrested, one of the damaged. This was taken to Ullevål. The other arrested persons, and it involved police patrol is unharmed, writes acting police commissioner Linn Hilde Fosso in a statement just before kl. 04.

– This is a matter that will be investigated by the special unit, so we can not say much more now, says operations Christiansen told TV 2.

Police said they are not going to go out with more details about the incident last night.

– Police came running with guns

Frank Hansen was at the gas station when the shooting occurred.

– I stood on the other side of the building when the explosion but did not realize that it was all about shooting. I thought there were some youngsters who ran to playing, says Hansen told TV 2.

When Frank came around the other side of the gas station, he realized that it was severe.

– I saw a cop come running with guns, says Hansen.

The incident happened at Shell stations in Roa.
