Paraglider crashed by car – TV 2

A paraglider pilot in his 20s suffered fractures after crashing with a car at Aurlandsvangen in Aurland in Sogn og Fjordane.

pilot is flown to hospital by air ambulance Forde.

The police was notified about the accident via AMK-center clock 19.39.

– There has been a collision between a paraglider and car. It may look like it has incurred fractures, but is conscious, said operations manager Inge Værøy in Sogn og Fjordane police told TV2 shortly after police had arrived at the place.

Para glider crashed into the side of the car which was driving on County Road 242.

The accident occurred just off the paraglider’s planned landing site.

Evy Hilde Veum live right by the crash site, but did not see the accident.

– It is often paragliders here. It’s not often they land on the road, but it has happened once earlier too, she tells TV2.
