Police have arrested a man who barricaded himself in a house on Snig Lindesnes Municipality. The man shot a policeman in the leg with an air rifle.
The police went into action against the man Monday night. Right after at 20.30 lighted College police that the man was arrested.
According to police, the man was wanted in a criminal case.
– Under arrest he loosened a shot with an air rifle at police . Shot hit an officer in the leg. The policeman was not injured, and police have not shoots, says College police.
According to the operations center the man may have been mentally unbalanced, and he was taken to the emergency room.
An area around the house was sealed off during the operation, which among other things led to the county road 460 were closed, according to NRK. This resulted in long queues on the road, which runs from E39 towards Lindesnes lighthouse.
