Seven accused in Lime case released from custody – Aftenposten

– Key evidence in the case is secured and we find it is no longer necessary with further detention, said police lawyer Anja Perminow Stenersen at Romerike Police.

According to Dagbladet, there are several of the main accused in the comprehensive tax, receiving of and trafficking case related to grocery chain Lime is released. The charges against the released prisoners will be maintained.

– We have released seven people associated Lime case. This is because we believe that any evasion of these people can be remedied by notification and make seizures, says Stenersen.

A total of 21 people indicted in the case, but no one has admitted guilt for the charges of human trafficking, fraud, handling stolen goods, moms- and social security fraud and tax crime. Lime-chief Sajjad Hussain is considered central in the network, and is partly charged with serious trafficking.
