Two Vigeland figures stolen – Aftenposten

The two figures are so-called wind wings, showing the wind direction. The stolen figures were placed on the roof to port lodges. They are about a meter high and depicts a naked man and a naked woman.

The theft was discovered on May 12, but it is uncertain when the figures disappeared.

“The size and location considering rains museum it likely that someone may have seen suspicious activity in connection with the theft ‘,” says Cultural Affairs in Oslo said in a statement. They ask any witnesses to the police or to the Vigeland Museum.
