TRONDHEIM : While the party leader remained at home in Oslo, where his wife was pregnant in overtime, held the first deputy Dagrunn Eriksen opening speech at the Christian Democrat National Convention in Trondheim Friday.
Eriksen had a clear message to the government parties, as KrF – and Left – has an agreement with. She stated from the pulpit that Sunday opening of shops is not even a topic of negotiation.
– This is not a negotiation issues for KrF, she said, and continued:
– Must get stopped Sunday opening
– We must put a stop to government proposal Sunday open stores.
She said KrF has a majority of the Norwegian people in this case.
– Our No. Sunday opening of shops is a yes to Sunday as a continued special day, a public holiday, a common day of rest, a different kind of day that is important for the community, she said.
Eriksen stated that the issue is a very important appreciates isak for KrF.
– It does not help that you have a day of rest on Wednesday when your children need at school. Either society resting heart one day a week, or it has not. Different day is not a project the individual can stack the legs alone, until she held.
Aching in rural
She also went out against Government distrikspolitikk.

Grassroots in KrF are dissatisfied with the Government’s regional policy. It reflected both submitted proposals to statements by congress and it was highlighted in Eriksens speech.

– Then they can not only propose amendments that reinforce a trend towards increasingly prioritizing urban areas rather than rural areas. It can not be that restructuring always means centralizing !, she said and listed police, tax offices, hospitals, airports and agriculture.
– The sum of all the changes now proposed may be too much. The sum of all the changes can turn harmful for the Norwegian district, she said, came with a direct request from the Prime Minister Erna Solberg to see the totality of all reforms currently in progress.
There is also unrest in the Democratic Party to the Government municipalities form, as KrF – in cooperation with the government – have said ‘yes’ to implement.
Warned against centralization
– Municipalities shape must not be centralization reform.
Dagrun Eriksen believes that the goal must be to adopt relocation of at least 1,000 jobs from Oslo during this four-year period. She emphasized that municipalities form, as KrF basically supports, must not “become a centralizing reform”.
– For KrF is an important value that it should be possible to settle outside the major towns if desired she said.
– Should be constructive
She promised KrF to be constructive in the process, but that the party also has clear expectations that the Government will KrF meeting at various points. One of KrF clear requirements are, inter alia, that a regional reform must be in place at the same time as a municipal form – and KrF wants more tasks moved from state to newly elected Regional Council.
Hareide’s deputy also came with a clear admonition to the parties in the agricultural settlement that they must agree to not to weaken the negotiating institute.
– We expect that the state has wide negotiation, she said.
Quota Refugees
Also, the refugee situation in and around the Mediterranean was a central theme in Eriksen’s congress speech. It is expected that the Democratic Party would adopt a resolution at the Congress saying that Norway receives 10,000 Syrian quota refugees, so SV, Labor and the Liberals also made.
– Last year called for KrF also larger Norwegian efforts to rescue boat people in the Mediterranean. This spring KrF maintained that sending a Norwegian boat to the Mediterranean appeared in August, too late. And control by the EU and Schengen’s external borders is not enough, which search and rescue operations closer to Africa’s coasts. More and more people realize it – and further action will now be discussed! In the negotiations, we will fight for a greater effort!
Increase humanitarian assistance
She said there is broad support for increasing humanitarian aid to Syria, Iraq and neighboring areas taking against millions of refugees.
– But more and more are now seeing the fundamental relationships. We must eliminate the cause of the desperate refugee crisis. Then we need to focus more on peace, reconciliation and development aid that removes the extreme poverty that forces people to flee! The long-term development efforts have been KrF trademark – now confirmed the necessity of it!
– The cooperation gives results
KrF deputy Dagrun Eriksen warns his party colleagues against believing that it would be better to cooperate with Labour than with the Conservatives and the Progress Party.
In a survey in Dagbladet Friday said over 55 percent of the representatives in the Democratic Party that they will prefer to cooperate with the Labor Party and the Centre over the government parties.
– We are in the policy to have an impact. It is important to remind ourselves that we together have achieved significant results. We put imprint, and the four cooperative parties talks well about much, she acknowledged.
