Police were alerted to the accident by half to five times this morning. It happened at a Russian hits at Mermaid Park in Verdal in North Trøndelag.
– Witnesses: Ran into gang of Russians
– We were first called by Russians who spoke of fighting between two people. Just after we got notice of what should have been a person who ran into a bunch of Russians, said operations in Nord-Trøndelag Police District, Bård Krogstad.
The man who was hit in the 20s and were sent to hospital with what is described as serious injuries.
The damages shall not be life-threatening.
Should have arrested the driver
Police have arrested another man in his 20s they believe drove the car.
– Eventually, we made contact with the driver. He sat quietly in the car about one kilometer away from where the accident happened, says Krogstad.
Police would not say whether the man they have arrested has admitted he ran into someone or not.
Police says to NRK that they suspect that the man has run with drink.
