The 50-year-old eksadvokaten lost first lawyer license in 2009, but got it back before he lost it again in 2012.
In Bergen District Court, 50-year-old sentenced to two months in jail and 420 hours community service three gross embezzlement totaling 2.1 million, newspaper Bergens Tidende.
It was too mild, said the prosecutor in Hordaland, who appealed the sentence. Now Gulating Appeal sentenced the former lawyer of one year and ten months’ imprisonment. Six months were suspended.
The man made contacts with the police and told that he had misappropriated clients’ money.
50-year-old lawyer, John Christian Elden, writes in an SMS to Bergens Tidende that his client is not satisfied with the Court of Appeal increased the sentence.
