Detective theft

The police have started investigation of the theft, but operations manager Magne Storaker emphasizes that salute cannon not lead to dangerous situations.

– It’s not something that comes out of them, so it can not be used for anything dangerous.

– Yet we want tips if anyone knows anything, says Storaker to NRK.no.

He says that the police will look into the matter Monday because of the staffing situation on May 17th.

– Wort

The gun was the smallest of the five salute cannons Watchtower heath in Arendal.

– It’s miserable, but we have enough gunpowder and cannons to complete the mission, assures Tom Gullesen.

– The one who’s gone weighs around 30 kilos, so it is possible to carry a person. We have easy travel throughout the area, but have not found it, says Gullesen.

The newspaper reports that the cannon is a replica cannon.
