Spokesperson for Profetens Ummah, Ubaydullah Hussain, was with two other vehicles and a film crew present during the remand hearing to Arfan Bhatti. After the hearing was Hussain asked about their attitudes to terrorism in Paris.
The death penalty
Hussain replied that media press caricatures of Prophet Muhammad deserves the death penalty, according to sharia.
– There is broad consensus among scholars of Islam about what applies in these issues.
– Is it death?
– Yes, it is just right.
He believes the West itself to blame for the attacks.
– It started a few years back, with imprisonment and torture of Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the war against Islam state in Iraq and Syria, as well to Norwegian arms exports to countries like Israel and the US and Norwegian participation in drone attacks including in Yemen, says Hussain.
He thinks nothing of that satire magazine Charlie Hebdo be sold in Norway and think kiosks which will make it, expose themselves to danger. He stressed that he only participates in debates, demonstrations and in social media.

Detained
It was not only with this statement that Hussain got attention: Right after the remand hearing was Hussain detained by police because they suspected that Hussain and his gang filmed at the hearing. After reviewing mobile cameras and video police found out that they had not filmed. When Hussain and his companions were led out of court, they sat down to pray outside the courtroom.
– We got solved this in a good way, said Hussain.
According to VG says Hussain that he was present in court “because he (Bhatti) is our brother.”
– I think it goes without saying that my brother and I are very close to each other. As a Muslim, it is my duty to support him.
